Notes
a. Note:   The 1860 federal census for Noble Co., Ohio shows the value of his real estate owned as $17,000 and the value of his personal property as $1,500. The 1880 Noble Co., Ohio shows that he and his parents were born in Ohio. This is an error. The Ancestry World Tree Project: Our Family History Rebecca Miller and Bruce Rutherford source shows his date of birth as 2 Januray 1810. Note: I am looking for information on the parents of Jane Cleary who married Peter Danford, my great-great grandparents. I believe her parents may havebeen John Cleary born in Ireland in or about 1810 and Anne D Dempsey born in or about 1827 in Ireland. I found them in the Guernsey Co. 1850 Censusliving in Seneca twp. with the following children Joseph age 11, Jane D. age9, Richard D. age 7, Eliza age 5, Uriah age 1. All the children were born in Ohio. The age of Jane D matches the age of the Jane Cleary who married Peter Danford. Does any one know where I can find more informations on this family. Message from When we were moving my uncle Walter to Quaker City a few years ago we came across one of those marriage certificates that people used to frame and hang on the wall. It states that John W. Cleary Whigville and Mary A Rutherford of McCleary Ohio were united in Holy Matrimony according to the Ordinance of God and laws of Ohio on the third day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-Nine.
