The McAfee Family of Scotland, Ireland and America source shows that Anne McCoun was born in Ireland, and came to Virginia in 1742. The U. S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970 about James Rankin Norvell source shows that she was born in Ireland, and died in Mercer Co., Kentucky, on 25 February 1795.
