John Young and family, of this vicinity, attended the funeral, Mrs. Mullins being Mr. Young's paternal grandmother, her first husband having been a Young. Mr. Mullins, the second spouse, was killed at the battle of Lone Jack. The late G. W. Young, a prominent Joplin banker, was a son of Mr. Mullins. A few days before she died he paid her a visit. Returning to his home he ate a hearty meal and in a few hours he was dead. Obituary Provided by: Havens - Friend <LouiseH@@cox.net>
