Collins age 25 born Vermont, born,in Moriah/Mineville, Essex County, New York on Jan 28 1884. 1900 census for Montana, Silver Bow, Butte lists Maggie (sp) Mcgearry (sp) age 16 born Jan 1884 "boarder" in the household of John Doner age 29 born Jun 1871 NY, wife Mary (Collins) Doner age 26 born Aug 1873 NY, (her aunt, her mother's sister) and Mary Doner age 3/12 born Feb 1900 MT. 1930 census for Montana, Flathead, Kalispell lists Kramer, Margaret, age 46, head, Laura E. age 16 and Jack B. age 10. Some birth records list Mineville, Essex, NY, as Margaret's birthplace. However, Mineville/Witherbee was a small community at the Witherbee, Sherman & Co mine adjacent to Moriah, Essex, NY. She was likely born at home at the mine site. Margaret had a sister, Lillian, (Mrs Brock) of Providence, RI., a brother, Hubert, and another sister, Alice. It appears that Hubert jr remained in Vermont when Hubert sr, his wife and 2 daughters went to Butte, Montana. The Mother, Alice (Collins) McGarry, died in Butte, MT on 1 July, 1895. Hubert sr left Margaret age 11 at The Convent of Loyola in Butte, Montana and returned to Vermont with daughters Alice and Lillian and son, Hubert jr. Later back to Butte where he died in 1922. Montana death index lists Kramer, Margaret R. 10/1/1959.
