a. Note:   Mrs. Massey Mrs. W. A. Massey, 85, died Saturday in Hearne, Texas. She had lived in Corsicana since 1931 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Corley Funeral Home Chapel. Claude B. Holcomb will officiate. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. R. L. Perkins of Hearne; four sons, James Massey of Duncanville, C. S. Massey of Hearne, Gene Massey of Wortham, and Don Massey of Corsicaha; 14 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and four sisters, Miss Letha Slawson of Stratford, Tex., Mrs. J. W. Hodges of Stratford, Mrs. Willie Cazey of Hearne, and Mrs. Blake Bolton of Abilene. Mrs. Massey's husband, W. A. Massey was a former chief of police in Corsicana. Her son Don is currently the chief of police. Pallbearers will be Joe Vaughn, Ray Tanner, W. H. Tipton, Dough Hightower, Rufus Pevehouse, and J. W. Dunlap.
