a. Note:   N117 Alternate online dates are b. 15 Oct 1798 in Lancaster Co PA & d. 4 Jan 1854 in Trumbull Co Ohio. I calculated from cemetary translation of inscriptions for birth and death dates. 1850 census roll 733; pg. 135: he is age 51; wife is Catherine Platt age 46 born PA. see below.
 Anderson researcher says that his parents were George (Geist) Goist born 2Feb1772 in Radsbury Twp. Lancaster Co PA and his mother was Catherine Boughman/Baughman born 5Aug1778 in Bart Twp. Lancaster Co. PA.
 Leah Barnhisel adm. on estate of John Barnhisel dec'd. recieves $8.00 in the final settlement of Moses' estate. Unclear why. (Leah Clay?) Also Probate records states "Widow refused administrate of estate". Wm Hays is the one who settles the estate, Samuel Dennison his co-administrator having resigned. Estate final settlement in 1861.
  Moses married 2nd to Catherine Platt daughter of Fred. (see Fred) in Trumbull Co about 1827.
 Moses and Catherine had:
 1. David Platt born 17 Aug 1829 in Liberty, died 31 Mar 1879 in Liberty Trumbull Co. He married
 Marietta McMullen on 20 Dec 1860 in Trumbull Co, she was born about 1830.
 2. Catherine Sarah born 2 Feb 1832 in Trumbull Co, she married John Keefer about 1850 in Youngstown
 David, Catherine & John Keefer were listed as heirs in Moses' will.
