a. Note:   N20 The tombstone transcription says he died 11/11/1862, but his will is probated on 11/7/1862. He appoints his brother H. L. Reel guardian of his children (Henry Lewis), and instructs him to give them "a good English education". He appoints his brother David the executor of his estate.1850: Liberty Twp. on 30Sep1850 Line#30 74/75.

 Mary Luce Reel born 1848 is in the Ancestry.com census data. Although her birthdate indicates she could be a daughter, I think she is a neighbor, she is not in the will of Samuel. If she is a daughter she died before her father. Her name in the census appears in the middle of the family as Mary Luce. I do find a Mary Luce with her family born 1850 living in Hubbard. The Luce farm was bought by Bowen Heaton.
