 1870 he is a grocer in Youngstown.
 1880 a grocer with 4 children in Youngstown.
 1900 he is Deputy Treasurer of Youngstown, living on Bryson? St. roll 1300 page 39.
 1910 census he is living on Pennsylvania Ave. Youngstown and has been married for 43 years. He has had 6 children, all 6 survived. He states he was born Oh and parents born in PA.
 He is featured on page 476 of the History of Trumbull and Mahoning Co. He has a physical disability that precludes him from joining the Union Army (twice). In the book it lists only five children: Harry M, Ella May, Effie Bell, Fred Bliss & Jay Garfield (in that order).
 The Youngstown Library moved to the Reel & Moyer block in March 1891.
 David was in grocery busisness with Moyer. Death Cert#60057, Vol# 2377 buried on 22 Sep 1917 in Belmont Park Cem. he lived at 836 Penna St., retired grocer. J G Reel was informant living in Idaho.
