 Simon lived in Bazetta in the upper west side of the township about 1 mile or so south of what is now Geauga-Portage Easterly Rd. Wildare, the then Champion Bazzetta Townline Rd, which is now 4626 Park Ave. Ext. The 1/2 acre LOT 10 may be the future home of Frederick Reel, the present 665 Evertt Hull Rd.

 1856 Map shows S. Reel just north of the Moyer farm, by 1874 Simon owns 57.5 acres with his son David to the south on 21 acres.
 1899 map shows Jacob & David with 53 acres each and a 1/2 acre lot on what would now be Everett Hull Road.
 1850 to 1870 Simon appears in the census in the LOT 1 property.
 1880 the Battles live on one side and the Barnett family on the other side.
 1870;Simon's farms were valued at about $1500.00 in; $500.00 in 1850.
 1889-1890 he lives in Greensburg, Greene
 There was a log cabin on the property that fell down in the 1930/1940 time period.
 Simon seems to have reared the Parker children of Eliza's from her first marriage as per 1870-80 census
