1. Ellen Maria Van Petten, 5 September 1878 in Linn, Washington Co., KS - divorced. One child:
- Floyd Lee Shatto, June 7, 1881
2. Sarah Miranda Boyer, 7 April 1887 in Linn, Washington Co., KS. Marriage ended with her death in 1908.

3. Possibly to Minnie E. (nee Benton) Downey, (a widow in 1910 census), with whom he boarded with two of his sons, in Oakland, Alameda Co.,CA, after death of his second wife. Minnie carried the Shatto surname thereafter. No children.
4. Annie Mae Lyon, 14 March 1920 in Poinsett Co., Arkansas. No children.
Came from Indiana to Kansas with parents. Brought the family to West Coast in the 1890's: first to Oregon and then California.
Variously reported as a farmer and carpenter in all census reports in California and then 1920 Arkansas and 1930 Missouri. From 1910, a self-ordained evangelist, he focused on this avocation from 1930 onward and traveled the west coast in a big panel truck with large signs on the side "Where Will You Spend Eternity". He spent the last 30 years of life estranged from his children and buried by his son Carl in an unmarked grave in the family plot in Sebastopol.

Harvey Shatto Called by Death
Arcata, July 23. Harvey Lee Shatto passed away Saturday, July 23, at his home in McKinleyville where he has been farming for the past six years. He was 75 years of age. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 at Black's Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Henry Gale officiating.
The body will be shipped to Sebastopol for burial. Surviving him are his wife, Mae Shatto, two daughters, Marjorie Rulye of Concord, Marion Murray of Sebastopol, three sons, Carl also of Sebastopol, John of Guerneville and David of Mt. Hope, Nevada, a sister, Mrs. Z. O. Field of San Francisco, and several grandchildren.
