Note: Ernst Spiegel, was a merchant. He was born in Bochum and fled the country during the Hitler invasion on the Jews. He was hidden in Amsterdam until after the war, but unlike his mother, Selma, he did not migrate to the US. He remained in Amsterdam and had a small milinery business. He later made children's car seats until his death.
