He owned one horse, one milk cow, one other cattle and two swine; not a great deal for a farmer of that time period. In the previous 12 months he raised 135 bushels of Indian Corn, 130 bushels of oats, 100 pounds of butter, a ton of hay and two bushels of clover seed."
