Williams Died Mrs. Sarah E. Williams Oakley wife of Harry J. Oakley, Millbrook, and formerly of New Paltz died Thursday, Dec. 8 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. J. Wells, Millbrook. She had been ill for several years. Mrs. Oakley was 82 and was born in Stanfordville, the daughter of the late Sherman H. and (Maria) Elizabeth Guernsey Williams. She was a teacher in schools in Dutchess county and was a member of the Methodist church, New Paltz, and also of the Seekers class. Survivors are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Roy Wyant, Po'keepsie; Mrs. Irving Crampton, of Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Wells, with whom she lived; one son, Leslie Oakley of New Paltz; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Pine Funeral Home, New Paltz, Sunday afternoon with Rev. Willet Porter, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in Verbank cemetery in Dutchess county.
