Note:   N2184 Obituary - The Washington Post, January 25, 2000: Louise Shelton Ross, 81, formerly of Woodbridge, Strasburg, and Falls Church, Va., died Monday at Annaburg Manor in Manassas, Virginia. The funeral will be conducted Wdnesday at 2 p.m. at Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg by the Rev. David Howard. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg. Mrs. Ross was born July 29, 1918, in White County, Ga., daughter of the late Walter Davis Shelton and Julia Bell Shelton. She had been a teacher in Fairfax County, retiring after 11 years. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Dale City, Fairfax Education Association and a volunteer for the Prince William County Library. She was the wife of the late Allen Murray Ross. Surviving are a son, Murray Shelton Ross of Burke; a daughter, Julie Ross Clark of Woodbridge� a brother, Charles Shelton of Cartersville, Ga.; two sisters, Aline Shelton McEntire of Marietta, Ga., and Virginia Shelton Chappell of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren: Ian Stewart Ross, Holly Beckham Ross, Hunter Ross Clark, Scott Allen Ross and Trevor Scot Clark. Mrs. Ross was the great-grandmother of Conner Allen Ross, the son of Ian Ross. Friends may call anytime at the funeral home, where the family will meet Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
