Note: Charles [2] Mott, the third son of Adam [1] by the second wife, was married probably not much before 1695 to Elizabeth -------, who apparently died in his life time. His Will was made Feb. 10, 1740 and proved Mar. 11 of same or next year. He was the owner of lands Cacayas or Kakiat (New Hempstead) in Orange Co.
