a. Note:   . Bought 20 acres from a Samuel Thompson on Roundhill i n New
 Haven. In 1725 he sold half interest in land where he an d his father lived called Roundhill to his
 son, Joseph. A 1748 map shows a farmer named Perkins nex t to Yale College. It was one of
 these men.
