Notes
a. Note:   A recent article by Harry Macy, jr (NYGBR 131:3-10, Jan 2000)
"Robert Jackson's Wives and Children," claims there is no evidence
that Agnes Washburn ever existed, and that the name is really a
composite of two of Robert Jackson's three wives:
 (ol)
(li)m. prob. in ENG, unknown, d. Hempstead.
(br)Children: (order uncertain) Mary, John, Samuel, Martha
(li)m. ca. 1650-53, [--?--] WASHBURN, dau. of William Washburn,
 b. Bengeworth, d. Hempstead ca 1656
 (br)Children: Sara, another daughter
 (li)m. ca 10 Apr 1660, Agnes [--?--], widow of Robert Puddington, b. ca 1615, d. aft 1683
 (br)Children: none
 (p)
If this proves to be the case, my connection to the Washburn family
 is forfeit.
