Notes
a. Note:   Rev. John Wilson was brought to New England by his father on the latter's second voyae in May 1632. He was graduated in the first class at Harvard Collete in 1644 and admitted freeman May 26, 1647. After preaching several years he became assistant to Rev. Richard Mather at Dorchester in 1649. Two yearsl later he removed to Medfield and in Dec 1651 was installed as the first minister of the new town where he was ordained pastor on 12 Oct 1652 in which service he continued for 40 years until his death and in addition performing the duties of physician and schoolmaster.
