Note: Amos arrived in the USA from LaBrea Trinidad in the early nineteen hundreds and lived with his sister Lucia Alice Hodges at 28 Windsor St. until his marriage to Doris Germaine Als (4 Nov. 1919) . He worked as a waiter at the Fritz Carlton Hotel, Boston, Ma. Amos, Doris and Gertrude Helen Als (Mother-inlaw) resided at 714 Shawmut Ave. Amos played piano and sang, eventually singing with the Symphony Choral Union along with Doris.
