Jemima's maiden name is unknown. Husband Thomas Saunders' burial location is in Steele's Mill, Randolph County according to his death notice in the Du Quoin Tribune dated 11/17/1881. It said he died on the Sabbath, so his death date would have been 11/13/1881. His grave has not been found after an extensive search among cemeteries in Steeleville (current name).
