a. Note:   N12 PROBLEM: 1. From LDS Ancestral File subr. Annette Richardson Dinswoody, it appears that Catherine and Lacy Witcher went to ILLINOIS before 1851, as last two children are born there, and she is listed as died and buried in the LEE CEMETERY Perry, IL. However I find a Catherine b. 1837 d.1874 listed as buried in the TEEL CEMETERY in Perry Co. IL(possibly a different Catherine Teel, birth yr different?) 2. From: "TN-Records of Jackson Co.. Ranger Book 1817-1860" (see sources) unknown daughter of Adam, who married Mr. Witcher, and "went to Texas". 3. I searched TX records and couldn't find any likely Witchers there. From Betty J. Dennard King (3/99): Adam Teel Sr. Family Tree, a JANE TEEL m. JAMES WITCHER and goes to TEXAS, and CATHERINE TEEL m. LACY K. WITCHER moves to ILLINOIS. Fall 1998 ALSO- - on the 1850 IL Perry Co Census (see below) there is a JAMES WITCHER and JANE from TN. Fall 1998 1850 IL Perry Co.
