Note: N13 Riley and his brother John sold their land on Jennings Creek, Jackson Co.TN in 1857 and moved to Perry Co. IL. From: "TN-Records of Jackson Co.. Ranger Book 1817-1860" (see sources) I didn't record the source of his birth date (1814) Wartrace Creek Jackson Co. TN, but my next source is Adam Teel Sr.'s Family Tree. From Betty J. Dennard King (3/99): Adam Teel Sr. Family Tree, they moved to Perry Co. IL by 1860. 10 Feb 2010 - TN Genealogy Society Reports an 1840 Jackson Co. TN Census for a John Teel 12 Apr 2011, DAVID TEEL Teel Family Cemetery �Rylie and his son Franklin Heyward are noted in Teel genealogy as those who �came to Illinois on horseback� from Tennessee. From Census documents, it appears that Rylie and Franklin came to Illinois sometime between 1840 and 1850. Also from census documents, it appears that Rylie�s older brother John (and his family) came to Illinois between 1850 and 1860.
