Owners of Heacham Hall, County Norfolk, as far back as 1560. p. 27: The name Rolfe is Danish, becoming Rollo in Normandy and first occurring about 600 AD when Rolfe Krake was king of Denmark. Name came to England with a Rolfe or Rollo when the Vikings first overran England.
