Gives to da ughter Dorithy VanSweringen 4 Negroes not to exceed age 40, 2 feather beds, 2 rugs, 2 pair o f blankets, 2 pair of sheets, 2 bolsters, one silver pint cup, 6 silver spoons, one small Eng lish Table, a suite of table linen, to be delivered to her at the day of her marriage, in "fu ll satisfaction" for her part of her father's and mother's estates. (3) 1727, 17 Oct: In the Provincial court, William Deacon sued Ann Bladen, Gerard Slye, an d John Park and his wife Teresia for partition of the 224 acre tract near the City of St. Mar y's called "Chancellor's Point." It was near the old fort and the White house field. They hel d the tract undivided as heirs of Joseph Swearingen: Ann Bladen, Gerard Slye in right of hi s deceased wife Sarah, Dorothy Vansweringen, Eleanor Manning, and John Park in the right of h is wife Teresia. William Deacon claimed 2/5 parts by purchase from Dorothy and Eleanor. The d efendants refused partition, but the court ordered the land divided. (3) 1728, 15 Nov: Teresa Parke posted bond as administrator of her estate. Both were of Ann e Arundel Co., MD. Left property in both Anne Arundel and St. Mary's Co.s, MD.
