Note:   [ralphroberts.ged] [roberts.GED] [6958.ged] In Culpeper county there is a deed dated July 2, 1760, which states that Daniel French, then of Fairfax Co, VA, and Margaret Frencb, late wife of James Strother, were children of Daniel French, late of King George Co, who gave some slaves to his said daughter Margaret in his will of which he made his brother Hugh French executor. The deed also states that John Strother, of Culpeper, French Strother, and Mary Gray, wife of George Gray, were children of the said James Strother and Margaret his wife, late Margaret French, decd, sister of Daniel French, party to the deed (FTM CD #186, p. 810).
