Note:   [rad1003.ged] "In 1741, Isaac Frost bought from Charles Wright and Mary Wright his mother, 47 acres of lan d with buildings thereon, on the west side of Mill River Neck, adjacent to the Papaquatunk o r Beaver Swamp River, and located quite convenient to the 'lumbering spring'; also, in 1754 , bought of Samuel Fosdick, 8 acres in the vicinity, and in 1755 a tract from Nicholas and To wnsend Weekes adjoining the road to the 'Town.' In 1763 Isaac and Mary Frost sold the aforena med farm to John Underhill of John and Rebecca (Frost) Underhill, in which family it continue d for four generations. There is on it now the Mill Neck R.R. Station and Post Office. "Isaac and family removed to Crom Pond in Cortlandt Manor, now Tp. of Cortlandt, Westcheste r Co., N.Y. and thence to Tp. of Clinton, Dutchess County, NY." The following will was for one of Isaac's sons Will of James Frost: I, James Frost, of the Town of Clinton, County of Dutchess and State o f New York, being this twenty-third day of the third month one thousand eight hundred and eig hteen well in health of body and of perfect mind and memory, do make and ordain this [recent ] writing to contain my Last Will and Testament in manner following: First, I will and orde r all my just debts with my funeral charges and my executors who fully paid for their time an d trouble and expense with all other incidental charges out of my estate. Second, then I giv e and bequeath unto all my brothers and sisters that is living, that is to say, Rhoda Baker , Elisabeth Powell, Isaac Frost, [G]adiah Frost, Jordan Frost, Solomon Frost, Mordecai Frost , George Frost and Mary Stringham, the three quarters of my estate to be equally divided amon gst them, and if any of my brothers or sisters decease it is my will that their parents' lega cy be equally divided amongst all their children. Third, then I give and bequeath the other q uarter unto my deceased sisters children, that is to say, I give Anna Shadbolt [�] Shadbolt t he one third, I give unto Ethelannah W[�] children the one third to be equally divided amon g them after the decease of their father, and the other third I give it unto Sarah Worden's c hildren to be equally divided amongst them. Lastly I appoint my friends Joseph Albertson, Jot han Wilber and Daniel Baker to be my executors of this my Last Will and Testament giving unt o them or either of them full power and authority to execute, fulfill and perform this my Las t Will and Testament in Witness hereunto I have set my hand and seal the day and year above w ritten. Signed, sealed, published, pronounced declared by the said James Frost as and for hi s last Will and Testament in the presence of the subscribers who signed as witnesses in the p resence of the testator.
