They were both buried at the Old Stone Church south of Auburn, NE. His second wife's burial place is Hunter Cemetery at Rock Port, Atchinson Co., Ne. His third wife was his first wife's cousin. She was buried beside J.D. Remmers, her first husband at the Old Stone church south of Auburn. The head stone reads 'Harmes-Remmers'. He did reside in Nemaha county Nebraska with her in 1910. He had a stroke a year before his death and another one a few weeks before his death. ***Need to recheck dates on Harmes-Remmers stone, husband looks twenty years younger.
