a. Note:   OBIT: 42, 54 BUR: German Lutheran Cemetary ! Fannie was born at Zwischenbergen, Amt Aurich, Ostfriesland, Germany. She was also baptised there at the Strackholt Reformed Evangelical Church. As a child she came to America with her parents. On April 1, 1865 she was confirmed in Petersburg, IL. January 27, 1867 she married Frank Johnson at Petersburg, Menard County, Illinois. The marriage license reads Frederick Johnson in the upper portion and Frederick Jansen in the lower portion. From Illinois they moved to eastern Nebraska and then to Craig, Missouri. In March of 1892, they moved to Franklin County, Nebraska, where they lived on a farm until 1910. They moved into Hildreth and lived to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Frank died December 20, 1917. Frauke supplied the information for his death certificate. On it she gave his name as Frank Johnsen Osterbuhr. She also gave his parents names as John Frerichs Ostebuhr and Greske Beyen. She had not been feeling well on July 30, but her condition was not thought serious until the next evening. She died at one o'clock in the morning on August 1, 1925. She was survived by eight of her nine children.
