a. Note:   Isaac R. Harrison was born app. 1803 in Rural Hills, Wilson Co., Tennessee. He was the son of Jehu (John) Harrison who died in Davidson Co., Tennessee in 1838. Isaac was listed in the 1829 Tax list in Davidson Co., Tennessee next to his father Jehu Harrison. On September 11,1838 Isaac bought land from Thomas Telford for Three Hundred and fifty dollars in Wilson Co. On October 28,1831 Isaac married Elizabeth Telford b. June 6, 1816 in Wilson Co., Tennessee. She was the daughter of Robert and Nancy Chowning Telford. They were married in the Sugg's Creek Presbyterian Church. Isaac took the Oath of Loyalty on March 3, 1866 along with A.J. Harrison, Thomas Telford, William Yandell and Thomas Peach, L.D. Harrison Makes Oath that they are Citizens of Wilson Co., Tennessee. Isaac died on August 20,1874 in Wilson Co., Tennessee. I have not found a Will or Estate papers for him. he is listed on the Inventory sale of Rolla Harrison in 1857, Davidson Co., Tennessee. Isaac may also have had a brother named Aquilla that was in the 1870 Tennessee Census not far from Isaac. Isaac also names a son Aquilla.
