a. Note:   I recently discovered a birth for a Johann Barnet Rudi to parents Jacob and Susanna Jungblut in Lancaster Co. I may have been mislead by a death certificate which stated his son John was born in Ireland. I followed this Barnet to Westmoreland Co. with his brother. Anyone with addition info. contact me. Barnet Rudy was living in Harmonsburg Twp., Crawford Co., PA in 1830. In a deed recorded in 1821 Bernard Rudy was living in Salem Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. In the 1820 Census Salem, Westmoreland Co., PA, he was listed as Barnet Roody with one male child 10 and under, one male child 10-16 and himself 45 and over. A female under 10 a female 16-26 and his wife 26-45. Margaret was married in 1823 and in Westmoreland Co. Abstract of his will: he bequeathed to his wife Mary she have all her living provided for by son James McCutchens. Son John received 50 acres of land North of this on which Barnard resided. (John later sold this land after James died). He left James McCutchen Rudy the 80 acre farm on which Bernard lived. To His daughter Margaret Horn he left $50 to be paid within seven years of his death. To his daughter Mary Ann Fry $50 to be paid in 7 years. James also was to have Bernards seat or slip in the Prebyterian Meeting House or Church in Evansburg. The excutors were John and James M. Rudy. Signed Barnard Rudy
