Note: With his son Eli, he passed through Buffalo, New York soon after it was burned by the British in 1812. ___________ Joseph S. Northrop: The government printed the 1790 census records in books. Many libraries have these. There is a mistake in them for my Joseph. He is listed with a different name. It is correct of course on the original record.
