CLARA SNACK DIES AT HOME IN DRESDEN AFTER LONG ILLNESS Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. in the Baptist Church here for Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Snack, aged 78, who died at her home on Muskingum Avenue Monday at 5:15 P.M. following a lingering illness. Mrs. Snack was born in Muskingum County on April 3, 1868, and had been a lifelong resident of this county. She was a member of the Dresden Baptist Church. Surviving are eight children, Jesse Snack of Zanesville; Mrs. Ida Helpingstine of Flat Rock, Illinois; Mrs. Minnie Almack of Coshocton; Mrs. Nellie Bryant of Coshocton; Mrs. Bessie Fortune of Dresden; Mrs. Helen Prouty of Dresden; and Miles and Blanche of the home; 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters-Frank Layton of Akron, George and Howard Layton of Coshocton, Mrs. Josephine Lynn of Newark, Sam Layton of Zanesvile, and Mrs. Rebecca Holdsworth of Coshocton. Her husband Rev. Howard Snack, a baptist Minister died July 29, 1925. The body is at the Baughman Funeral Home and will be removed to the residence Wednesday.
