Note: ht land at Lebanon CT and was a founder of the Truro Church in 1711. He served as deacon 1717-1727 and as Truro town clerk. On 11 Jan 1722/3 he was chosen ruling elder of the Truro Church. On 31 Mar 1728 he was "discarded for suspected adulter and other misdemeanors." Probably as a result he moved to Duck Creek (now Smyrna) Delaware, where brothers Elisha and Isaac had settled in 1711.
