a. Note:   Nancy came from the Cromwell, Sparta Township, Noble Co., IN. area. Nancy, died at her residence in Albion, Albion Township, Noble Co., IN on the corner of West Jefferson and North Oak streets, about 8:15 in the evening, after a lingering illness, aged fifty-three years and three months.
 The immediate cause of her demise was apoplexy, but for the past few years, she has been afflicted with an infection of the throat. During her long and painful illness she bore her sufferings and afflictions with patience and resignation. "She was a most estimable woman, and in her home she reigned with charming womanliness. As a wife and mother she was all that the terms implied. As a neighbor and friend she was the personification of kindness and goodness. She was unostentatious in what she did, and although no monuments of costly marble, which perisheth, of her fame were ever reared, yet her memory will endure forever in the hearts of her husband, children, relatives and friends.

 Schwab Nancy died of apoplexy at her residence on the corner of W. Jefferson and N. Oak Streets Monday, aged 53 years and 3 months. She was born in Licking County, Ohio, March 1, 1850. She married Gottlieb Schwab October 29, 1868. They had 8 children, of whom 3 preceded her in death. She leaves a husband; 5 daughters, Mrs. D. E. Gonser of Ashley, Mrs. C. W. Beck of this city, Mrs. Cora Netz; Misses Ivia and Edna at home; one son, Dale. Obsequies at the residence today. Democrat 6-4-1903
