a. Note:   Ralihan Katherine, about 65, formerly of Albion and Kendallville, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Chicago July 5, 1969. She was born in Albion August 2, 1903, the daughter of Charles and Frances (Schwab) Beck. She was married to Glade Ralihan in Albion and resided in Albion for a number of years while he was employed at the Farmers State Bank. They later lived in Kendallville and then moved to Chicago. He died some years ago. She was a graduate of Albion High School and until her retirement had been employed at the Palmer House in Chicago. She was preceded in death by their son, Charles, who was killed in Okinawa in 1945 during WW II, and by 3 of her brothers, Clarence, Robert and Dr. Forrest Beck. One sister, Mrs. Don (Pauline) Ross of South Bend, and one brother, Dr. Charles Beck of Hartford City, survive. Funeral was at Bonham, Miser & Brazzell Funeral Home in Albion July 9. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery. + 7-?-1969
