Died Sunday Night - In juries sustained by Mrs. Adeline Day in a runaway recentl y resulted seriously. Mrs. Adeline Day, wife of D. D. Day, who with her husband w as seriously injured when a buggy in which they were ridin g was backed over a high embankment, died Sunday evening a t 5:30 at the home of her son one-half mile north of the In dependence school house, from the results of the injuries . Mrs. Day was 74 years of age and had been bedfast since t he accident. The funeral was held this afternoon at three o'clock from t he home of her son, conducted by Rev. Harris of the Scott A venue Presbyterian Church. The body will be brought to thi s city this evening from whence it will be taken to Blue Mo und tomorrow morning for interment.
