Note: Uncle Grover was a very likable man, whose hobby was all kinds of fishing in his lifetime. He first married Laura Haynes in Murfreesboro, TN and they had 1 son named Dick Moore, after his uncle. In the family he was know as little Dick Moore. Unfortunately, he drowned accidentally in a lake near Franklin, TN when he has 32 years old. Uncle Grover was divorced from his 1st wife and moved to Vidalia, GA, where he owned a Ford automobile dealer-garage for a few years. Then he moved to Cordele, GA about 1917 where he operated an automobile storage battery business for a number of years. His 2nd marriage was to Ellen of Lyons, GA and they had one son and one daughter. Their son William "Billy" Moore died in an Air Force airplane crash near Panama City, Florida, September 22, 1942 during WWII. Their daughter, Nan married Raymond D. Manning. Uncle Grover Moore operated a battery business in West Palm Beach, Fl for a number of years after leaving Cordele. He was killed in an automobile crash there in 1931, when he was 42 years old. He was buried in Lyons, GA the hometown of his wife, Ellen. Ellen remarried a Mr. J.B. Burch and they operated a hardware and auto supplies store in West Palm Beach for some years.
