Note: The story about Veronica is...She had 2 sisters (Gertrude and Frances?) Her family was very into the Catholic Church, being
Irish this is not surprising. Veronica had to get married but
she didn't have a wedding, which usually meant that she was
pregnant or had done something wrong in the eyes of God. She
and Herman were supposedly married in the Pastor's office in
1915 and Raymond was not born until 1917. So if she was
pregnant she must have miscarried the child. Because Raymond is
their only child.
