NOTES: There are questions as to the marital status of Ralph at various times: The 1910 Federal Census indicates Ralph's brother Floran was married to a woman named Minna and it also shows a grand-daughter (age (1/12) named Elizabeth. However, to the best of my knowledge Floran was married only once to Louise Junemann and had only two children, June and John. Could Minna have been Ralph's wife and Elizabeth his daughter? Elizabeth stayed with Ralph and his parents in the 1910 and 1920 census, never with Floran's family. In 1930, Elizabeth is listed with her grandfather, Ralph's father. I have not located Ralph on the 1930 census. Also, on Ralph's WWI draft registration card, dated 1917, he lists his marital status as "married", but the marriage application for Lela Minnie (Jones) Turner indicates they were not married until 1921. I do not believe the "Minna" shown on the 1910 census could be Lela Minnie (Jones) since she was born in 1897 and would have been only 12-13 years old at that time and too young to be a mother of Elizabeth. More research needed on this!
