Assume Sophia's maiden name was Blaser. More research needed to determine if this is our John M. Spansail.
  Believe John M. Spansail homesteaded in the Bell Forest/Daphne, Baldwin Co., Alabama area; based on Homestead Application #33843, Final Certificate #20653 obtained from the National Archives. Copy in my possession. More research needs to be done to determine if this is the son of Jacob & Elizabeth.
