 Thomas P. Kennard, one of the three commissioners who located the state capital at the salt basin and founded the city of Lincoln, passed away in sleep at 7:30 on Thursday evening at his home, 1645 H Street. He built in the early days a costly home on H Street, but two doors from the home in which he died. Mr. Kennard leaves a son, Alva E. Kennard of Los Angeles, and two daughters, Mrs. Geo. H. Holden and Mrs. Cora K. Chapman of Lincoln. He has one grandson, Thomas Kennard Holden.
