Note: Axel Edvin Carlson, 18, from Sweden arrived in US November 3, 1910 on ship Mauretania which departed from Liverpool, England. He is later found on the 1910 federal census in the household of a relative, John A. Hedeen, Ellington, Chautauqua, New York. He was naturalized in 1918 in New York. In 1920 he and brother, Elmer (Hjlamar) are found listed under the name of Hedeen as borders in Bucyrus Crawford Co., OH. In 1930 they are still there--Elmer is listed as a roomer and Edwin Hedeen is listed as head of household with wife Lois and children, Ruth V 8 and John 6.
