Stephen Sr. came to Ferris, Butler County, Pennyslvania near Grove City in 1922. He worked with his brother Albert in the coal mines in that region. He then moved to Cleveland, Ohio about 1927. His wife Mary, daughter Pauline and son Stephen Jr. came to America in 1929. The 1931 Cleveland Ohio City Directory, Page 13509 - Roll OH-07, - Steph (Mary) Mach h 2555 Scovill Av. Stephen Sr., Mary and Family eventually moved by 1939 to 2505 East 23rd, St. Cleveland. Mary became a citizen on December 15, 1939. Stephen died Sep 15 1950. Stephen worked as a machinist and was Vice-President of the Cleveland District of the Slovak Catholic Federation of America.
