Note: Death Note: Jeanne Edwardine (Snyder) Snopel age 92, died Saturday (March 10, 2012) after a short illness. She was a life resident of Canton. Jeanne was a graduate of Mt. Marie Academy Class of 1938, the Mercy School of Nursing Class of 1941. A Registered Nurse for 50 years, she loved labor and delivery and teaching younger nurses most of all. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Preceded in death by three sons, Michael A., James P. and Stanley E. Snopel; two sisters, Dawn Carlton and Ruth Cunningham: and a brother, Leonard Snyder. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanmarie and Joseph Spehar of Malvern; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Paul S. Snopel of Malvern, Stephen G. III and Joy Snopel of Milpitas, Calif., Robert J. Snopel of Canton, and Cheryl Snopel of Clinton; and seven grandchildren, Katie, Laura, Carl, and Jack Spehar and Jeffery, Christopher, and Nicholas Snopel. Jeanne's family wishes especially to thank the doctors, physicians' assistants and nursing staffs at Cardiology One and Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation for their love, friendship, and truly professional care. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Klingler as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home.
