Sabel, 91, of 1058 Bardstown Road, died Saturday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. She was the former Clara Breitenstein, a native of Stadt Allendorf, West Germany, retired owner of John Sabel Decorators and a member of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Associates. Survivors: three daughters, Elizabeth B. Striegel, Sister Clara Ann Sabel and Barbara S. O'Bryan; two sons, John Jr. and Louis A. Sabel; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Brigid Catholic Church, Baxter and Hepburn avenues, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Barrett Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road, from6-9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
