Note: 1900 census says they were married 6 years; had 3 children; 3 are alive in 1900. 1910 census says they were married 15 years; had 5 children; 4 are alive in 1910. 1920 census also shows their daughter Hazel Overdorf & her husband Lamont and their daughter Sarabelle as well as their son Walter and his wife Sarah living with them at 315 Maple St., Jersey Shore, Lycomiing County, Pennsylvania. ROBB:--- William James Robb died early Monday morning at his home in Jersey Shore, folling an illness of several months. For more than 40 years he was a fireman, engineer and member of the motive power division on the New York Central Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Olive, four sons: Lloyd E. and Howard G., Buffalo; Walter, Dale W. and Mrs. Lawrence Overdorf, of Jersey Shore; his mother, Mrs. Harriet Robb, of Howard; three brothers and two sisters: Harry, Huntingdon; Emanuel A., Solon, Ohio; Leon. J. Beech Creek; Mrs. Lydia Johnsonbaugh, Bellefonte, and Mrs. Sadie A. Shank, Howard. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Rev. T. M. Stone officiating. Burial will be made at Blanchard. Note from Sabrina : The illness of several months was congestive heart failure, diagnosed by his physician Dr. J. W. Keller, on 17 Aug 1933 until his death. He died on 7 May 1934, shortly before Daddy graduated from Jersey Shore High School (class of 1934). Lee Young (Ft. Myers) always called him Uncle Will. Lee says they lived just down the block from each other on Maple St. He also says his Aunt Olive (our Grandma) moved in with his father Perry Young almost immediately . Lee's mother passed in 1932. There was something going on between grandma Olive and Lee's father Perry before their spouses were dead. I will bet money on it. Grandma Olive lived with Perry Young until her death. She died in Lee's house.. That's where the "accident" happened. As soon as Grandma Olive died in 1943 Lee's father Perry moved in with Hazel (ROBB) Heaton, daughter of Clarence ROBB and Ettie (GUMMO) Robb. Hazel's husband passed in 1938. BTW, I spoke with Hazel in 1979. She died 2 years ago at the age of 95. She wouldn't tell me too much in 1979 but in generalities. She was sweet and polite and invited me to write her. I did a few times but she didn't respond. Lee's father died in her home in 1965. It's interesting to note that of the 5 sons grandma and grandpa Robb had ( Lloyd, Howard, Walter, DeLaun and Daddy) none were named William. Yet "William" was the 1st name of their father and of their grandpa Miller. Only Daddy has "William" in his name. I assume he was named for both his father and grandfather Miller ; but I remember Daddy saying his middle name was from his Dad. The Rev. T.M. Stone officiated at Grandpa Robb's funeral service. Funeral services were held at home, 429 Wilson St.
