a. Note:   RESEARCH_NOTES: 1. Apparently there was an uncle or other related person to this Ernst, who had the same name but was at least a generation older. From the Wienrode church records per my Jun 2009 visit to the Brunswick Archives (Staatsarchiv) in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. These records have not been filmed by the Family History Library and are only available by visit. Wienrode is a small hamlet within the Amt (township) jurisdiction of Blankenburg-am-Harz. The area was part of the former Communist East Germany. The record translated with help of the archivist: "Wienrode, burial 6 Dec 1761, Ernst Christophe Hage, inhabitant of Wienrode, scissor maker, age 50 years, 9 months, and 1 week.
