On Sept. 20, 1945, he married Mary Dias in Florence, Italy. Formerly of Arvada, where they had lived for 25 years, they lived in Greeley for the past 13 years. Mr. Saddoris loved gardening, fishing and being with his family. He was a lover of dogs. He died Monday at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley. Survivors: His wife, Mary Saddoris of Greeley; a son, Jon Saddoris of Columbus, Ind.; three daughters and their husbands, Juliana and Chuck Dickson of Glendale, Ariz., Theodora Saddoris and John Nieters of Columbus, and Priscilla and Raymond Pierce of Greeley; a sister, Leona Taylor of Grand Junction; five grandchildren, Shonya Pool, Joy Dickson, and John, David and Robert Nieters and two great-grandchildren, David and Mathew Pool. Preceded in death by: His parents and two brothers. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Historic Catholic Church, 915 12th St., Greeley.
