Note: aka Don N. BLOODE on marriage License # 455, Marquette Co. MI 1936 aka Noel D. Blood on Death Certificate From Romona Blood e-mail Aug. 22, 2002 As the house on Second Ave. I don't think there are any pictures in our collection. BUT, I can picture it well in my own mine. not that that will help you. eh? In my earlier days I walked by it every day going to and from school at the grade school (H.P.Barrows 4th Ward). At that time I lived down on Middle Street (2nd Ave was between Middle and Wood Sts.) Ask Rita if she remembers the Doughterys' that lived a couple doors from them toward Wood St? Barbara and I were in the same class and good friends over the years.....I saw her at our 60th Class Reunion in TR, yr.2000. I would think there should be some pictures in Elaine's belongings that would show the house. It was a nice place. When Noel (& Elaine) came back to TR they lived in an apt. down on S. Main St. just beyond the Oliver Lbr. Co. then. It has since been toren down when W. W. Hazen Lbr. Co (another TR business) took it over, Olivers' that is. Just a hop and skip on down the street was the original Catholic Church. The kids certainly remember where that is. It was from there that they moved to Flint with>>>Father Jacobs...I believe. This is off the beaten path but back up S Main nearer center of town was a A & P Grocery Store (Use to be up in'the center of the business section) Anyway.. that was where sister Mariel worked and later was transferred to Mishawaka, IN (S.Bend) and she met and knew Ed (her 2nd husband) as he worked for them in charge of their truck deliveries He was such a nice guy, to bad more of it didn't rub off on her......(she was a Musser decendant) She has mellored some over the yrs., thank heavens........ I knew the lady that bought the house after they moved to Flint. So much on the family in TR and their home. I keep forgetting the time frame that some of the kids were born so maybe I expect Rita to recall too much. Joe and Mary would. They use to be our paper delivery kids on Wood Street. When I still lived at home. Another chapter of the Bloods'... later. Ramona
