a. Note:   In the 1850 census Mary Ann Burr states that she was born in New York. The files of Marilynn Munoz Family tree found in rootsweb is well documented and contains the names of many families (over 150,000 individuals). The Hull family originated from connecticut with the first Hull immigrant, George Hull, who arrived in 1630. The Burr's also came from connecticut and then moved to New Juersy and New York. with VP Aaron Burr being one of the most favorite cousins. The Whitlocks were also from Connecticut with John Whitlock being the earliest ancestor (d 1659) that we can find. The Phelps line appears to have originated in Massachusetts. There are many connections to royalty. The Stillman Burr file list no birth or death dates while the Silliman Burr file lists both birth and death dates. Both files list Hezikiah Burr and Mary Annabel as the parents so it is logical to assume Stillman and Silliman are one and the same. The Stillman Burr file lists Many Ann as a child but the Silliman file does not, but there is a convenient slot in birth dates that Mary Ann's birthdate fits in nicely. This is not uncommon for one file to list one child while anotther ommits that child but lists others. From the above information I am therefore assuming that Mary Ann Burr is the child of Silliman (Stillman) Burr with grandparents being Hezikiah Burr and Mary Annabel.
